RUNSY - Plata O Plomo

Chicago born and raised artist Runsy makes her introduction as Esperanza, the vulnerable artist, in her debut solo show at Franchise Gallery.

Plata o Plomo is a semiotic exploration of varying forms of power procured through pop culture facades and adornments. Runsy is Esperanza, in a dualistic existence, arriving at what it means to be a Mexican artist from South Side Chicago with a propensity for self exploration. This presentation of, “all things that make up who I am,” is equally meditative and robust. Each intricate lead etching is as delicate as it is striking, much like the artist herself.

The exhibition will be on view debuting February 18th until March 18th at Franchise.

The gallery is located at 977 Chung King Road, Los Angeles California 90012
